Frequently Asked Questions:
Absolutely! Jazzercise students come in all sizes and
shapes and all experience levels. You may choose to work at a high- or
low-impact level and modify it as you continue with us and become more
fit. The most important thing is to keep moving, even if you're
just marching in place. For a strictly low-impact option check out our Jazzercise Lite classes.
Perhaps the best part about
Jazzercise is that it appeals to so many people - in fact, some of our
students are high school and college students. As we age, our bodies go through metabolical
changes, to be sure, but you'll find many students who agree they are
positively in the best shape, fitness-wise, of their lives. As we always
say in Jazzercise, fit is IT!
Results will come based on two primary elements:
intensity and frequency. If you perform the moves with the proper effort
[the instructors will happily give you personal instruction before or after class]
and attend classes regularly, you will
see results. Remember: like anything, you get out of it
what you put into it!
We offer several classes per week, and
a class pass entitles you to attend them all. However, be careful not to try to do too much too soon.
Jazzercise needs to be something you do for yourself; as you attend
consistently, you'll totally understand why many students regard their
classes as "me" time. So, just get started
and advance at a pace that works for you.
Nearly all our students are on the Jazzercise Easy
Fitness Ticket system, where one low class fee is electronically
transferred from your bank account or credit card each month. Of course, we also offer
a 2 month unlimited attendance class pass. For a more complete
description, click on the "prices" link. Or, just click the "contact us"
link and get started!
Friends make
Jazzercise fun! Our Make The Connection program is also a great incentive
for bringing friends to class.
Well, to some degree, we all fear
that at some point! Because your Jazzercise 'support group' is made up
of so many people like you, you'll find that your concerns will melt
away in no time. After you have taken a couple of classes, the
moves aren't scary at all!
Feel free to log onto
Jazzercise.com and click on Learn The Moves for a preview of what
to expect.
You'll see many different 'uniforms' at Lake Mills Jazzercise - from Jazzertogs that are available on the
Jazzercise website, to tee
shirts,
tanks and shorts. Most importantly, be comfortable, and wear good,
supportive footwear - ask the instructors for assistance if you need it!
We use mats when we go to the floor for strength work.
Bring a water bottle and towel. Hand-held weights are used every class as well, but are
optional. Registered students may store their equipment at our
studio. We do have some mats and weights available to borrow on a
first-come, first-served basis.
Lake Mills is our home and, as a Chamber member, we love to participate
in community events. From Jazzercise demos at the Fall
Festival, the Tyranena Beer Run, Town & Country Days,
and leading the elementary school kids in Shape Up Wisconsin Kids
Day, we're all about helping make Lake Mills a healthier, happier
place to live.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Please check out our

While men are always welcome to attend our classes, the
vast majority of the Lake Mills faithful are women. But we warmly
welcome everyone!
Jazzercise is for people of all shapes and
sizes. Because we offer such a customizable workout plan, our students are able to reap the rewards of their
continued participation. Regardless of how much you feel you need to
lose, you'll find Lake Mills Jazzercise a friendly, supportive
environment that will allow you to reach your goal at your own pace.
